Two different things on one page

A factory second is a bag that failed our inspection on appearance, not on construction. The Voyager Canvas Duffel here is exactly that: the snap buttons and strap buckles show varying degrees of rust, and that rust has stained the fabric next to them. It is sold as-is at a discount, and the product page says so before you add it to the cart.

Overstock is different. The REBELS Canvas Tote in this collection has nothing wrong with it — it is full-quality stock at a clearance price. Same 40-litre body, same washed canvas, same reinforced lining as always.

We keep both on one page because the reason to visit is the same — you want a Gootium bag for less — but we never blur which is which.

What is the same, and what is not

The same: the fabric, the stitching, the hardware specification, the dimensions and the capacity. A factory second is built on the same line to the same pattern as the full-price bag.

Not the same: the appearance, on the seconds. Rust, staining, a crooked stitch line, a colour batch that drifted. Every flaw is described on the product page. If a flaw is not listed, it is not there.

Returns on discounted stock

Factory seconds are sold as-is, so the described flaws are not grounds for a return — you are told about them before you buy. If a bag arrives with damage that was not described, that is a quality issue like any other: email service@gootium.com with your order number and photos, and we will make it right at no cost to you.

Overstock items are covered by the normal policy, exactly as if they were full price.
